We’re surveying practices on appointment wait times
November 7, 2025

This article is for PCPs, OB/GYNs, Oncologists, Cardiologists, Dermatologists, Gastroenterologists, Ophthalmologists, Orthopedic Surgeons & Mental Health practitioners caring for our members

We’re contacting practices to conduct our Annual Appointment Wait Time Survey. This quick survey helps us understand how long members can expect to wait for an appointment and is required to meet health plan regulations.1

Completing the survey is simple

  • We’ll call your office or send an email with a secure survey link.
  • You'll need to check your appointment scheduler for the next available patient slot—either in-person or telehealth, whichever is sooner.
  • Consider assigning someone in your office to complete this survey and handle other provider directory activities, including CAQH data updates and Blue Cross surveys every 90 days.
  • The survey will only be available for 4-5 weeks.

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and responses will be aggregated with those from other providers in your specialty.

Remember to verify your directory information every 90 days

Clinicians must review, update and attest that their demographic and practice information is correct, every 90 days. To do this, go to: Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Provider Data Portal.  Be sure that CAQH has your correct email to receive re-attestation email reminders.
