Earn CME credits for open bed campaign participation
December 28, 2020

This article is for all medical providers caring for our members

The mission of the COVID-19 Open Bed Campaign is to immunize all eligible adults for vaccine-preventable diseases including pneumococcal and influenza. You can receive up to two continuing medical education (CME) credit hours by participating in this no-cost campaign.

Campaign partners are the National Committee for Quality Assurance, the Immunization Action Coalition, and TESCHGlobal.

How does the campaign work?

You may sign up on the vaccination Performance Assessment and Continuing Education System (vaxPACES) website, complete the applicable modules, and enter vaccination data for:

  • Influenza
  • Pneumococcal (for the elderly, immune compromised, and those with co-morbid conditions)

Your vaccination rates will be measured based on the number of eligible patients and the percent of those patients receiving the recommended vaccinations. You will be able to view your results and compare yourself to others in the program through an online dashboard integrated with the CME learning management system.

How do I sign up?

Go to www.vaxpaces.com and select Register. This website includes information on the program and how to get CME credits.

Questions?

If you have any questions, please send an email to info@vaxpaces.com. As always, thank you for the care you provide to our members.
