We’re making changes to our retail fertility specialty pharmacy network and to the medications specialty pharmacies can fill on July 1, 2019:
As of July 1, 2019, these two pharmacies will no longer be in our retail specialty pharmacy network for fertility medications:
Because of this change, we recommend that you start directing members to one of these fertility specialty pharmacies in our network:
What happens to members currently using AllianceRx Walgreens Prime or BriovaRx?
Members currently using AllianceRx Walgreens Prime or BriovaRx can finish using the medications on their current cycle so their care is not interrupted. We’ll be reaching out to these members by phone to let them know this.
On July 1, we’re updating our specialty pharmacy medication list to include the medications listed below. These medications will either be available through our specialty pharmacy network or are new to the market and have been designated as “specialty” medications on our formulary.
Medications now available through our specialty pharmacy network
What’s the retail specialty pharmacy network?
To cover our commercial members’ specialty medications, we require them to fill prescriptions through a specialty pharmacy in our network.
You can find a complete list of specialty pharmacies in our network on our Specialty Pharmacy page.
