As a reminder, ProgenyHealth will manage the process for NICU level of care authorizations using InterQual criteria on our behalf for infants born on and after November 1, 2023.
October webinars
To help you prepare for this transition, ProgenyHealth will offer the following provider education sessions:
- Tuesday, October 3 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, October 4 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Thursday, October 5 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
At these sessions, you’ll learn:
- How to submit level of care authorizations, concurrent reviews, and request transfers between facilities
- What documentation you’ll need to submit
- How to request reconsideration for denied level of care requests
- How ProgenyHealth’s case management process works
