As we approach the end of the year, here are some authorization reminders specifically for physical therapy and occupational therapy services.

December 31, 2023 (regardless of when the authorization was issued) |
You'll need to request a new authorization via Authorization Manager. |

Medicare Advantage |
365 days from the date the authorization was issued |
You do not need to request a new authorization if you have a valid, existing authorization. |
