We’re surveying practices on appointment wait times
June 17, 2024

This article is for PCPs, OB/GYNs, Oncologists, Cardiologists, Dermatologists, Gastroenterologists, Ophthalmologists, & Orthopedic Surgeons caring for our members

We’re currently reaching out to a sample of practices to conduct our Annual Appointment Wait Time Survey. This quick survey will help us understand how long members can expect to wait for an appointment; it is required to meet health plan regulations.

Completing the survey is simple

  • If your practice is randomly selected, we will email you with a secure link to complete the survey or call your office if we don’t have an email for you.
  • The survey will require you to access your practice appointment scheduler to determine the next available patient appointment. Please enter the next appointment for either an in-person or telehealth visit, whichever is first.
  • We recommend assigning someone in your office to manage all provider directory activities—including attesting in CAQH Provider Data Portal or responding to Blue Cross surveys every 90 days.

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. We’ll combine your responses with those of other providers in your specialty and review in aggregate.

Remember to verify your directory information every 90 days

Clinicians must review, update and attest that their demographic and practice information is correct, every 90 days. To do this, go to: Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Provider Data Portal.  Be sure that CAQH Provider Data Portal has your updated email on file so that you receive their re-attestation email reminders.
