How can you receive credit for watching?

Between now and May 31, watch the 31-minute presentation, and follow the steps below to attest to completing it. You’ll earn an incentive for the 2025 calendar year by completing the training as long as your facility meets the program’s eligibility criteria.

Sign in when prompted (you’ll need to enter your name, facility name, NPI, and your email address). By signing in, you’re creating a record of your participation and slides viewed.
View the presentation until the COMPLETION CRITERIA status indicator changes from NOT MET to COMPLETED.

Once you’ve completed the training, you’ll get a confirmation email approximately two to three hours later. This will come from noreplies@brainshark.com. Check junk or spam folders for this email if you don’t see this in your inbox.

You can also download a certificate of completion. Click Next Up at the end of the presentation. You can access this option by clicking the orange button in the lower right corner.

What will you learn?

The training focuses on areas that skilled nursing facilities told us are important to you. This includes:

  • Authorization Manager demonstration. This will help you to understand how to use this online tool to enter skilled nursing facility authorizations. We also cover after hours authorization processes.
  • Reminders on forms to use for coverage and continuing coverage.
  • Benefits our members have, including skilled nursing facility benefits, transportation, and community supports for post-discharge.
  • Massachusetts’ transition from Medical Orders for Life Saving Treatment (MOLST) to Portable Orders for Life Saving Treatment (POLST) presented by the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care.
Share with others at your facility

Feel free to share this training with others at your facility who may benefit, such as your admissions, case management, or discharge planning teams.
