Prescribing generic medications can help our members manage their out-of-pocket costs. Some members are eligible for no-cost generic medications if they have one or more of the following conditions:
The copay and deductible will be waived for these medications when purchased at an in-network retail pharmacy, or through the mail service pharmacy.
Federal Employee Program members with a Standard Option plan can get their first four generic prescriptions or refills at no charge when they switch from qualified brand name drugs to generics at a Preferred retail pharmacy or the Mail Service Pharmacy within the same benefit year.
