Value-based Benefit Design
Some of our members have value-based benefits providing them with coverage to help manage care for these conditions more affordably:
- Asthma
- Coronary artery disease (CAD) or risk of cardiovascular disease (taking high blood pressure medications in combination with high cholesterol medications)
- Diabetes
- Depression (associated with any of the above conditions)
With value-based benefits, smokers also get access to medications (when prescribed) at no cost, in addition to smoking cessation programs that are available at no cost to all members.
